Mr. Cary Price is Manager and Chief Instructor at the Trinidad and Tobago Civil Aviation Authority – Civil Aviation Training Centre. He is a licensed Air Traffic Controller, Air Traffic Control Instructor and Air Traffic Control Examiner.
He was the Course Developer, and Lead Instructor in the design, development and delivery of ICAO STP “Threat and Error Management in Air Traffic Control” STP059/034/ATC TEM and he is an ICAO Qualified Course Developer and an ICAO Qualified Instructor for the Training Instructors Course TIC 2.
Mr. Price was awarded the Diploma in Professional Training from the IATA Training and Development Institute (ITDI). He holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Aviation Management from the University of the West Indies, graduating with Distinction, and is presently reading for the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. He also holds the Management Certificate in Civil Aviation issued by the University of Concordia and ICAO, and a Management Certificate in Aviation Safety and Security from the University of Southern California.
Mr. Price served as a Board Member of the Trinidad and Tobago Air Traffic Controllers’ Association for 10 years, and as a member of the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers’ Associations (IFATCA’s) Finance Committee for twelve years, with two of those years served as Chairman of the Committee.
He also served in the roles of Chairman, Secretary and Assistant Secretary of his Union Section for a combined period of 15 years, and in 2013 he was nationally elected as an Executive of the Public Services Association of Trinidad and Tobago, the country’s largest Trade Union and the major Representative Association for the Government Service and Public Sector in Trinidad and Tobago.
Mr. Price also serves as an Industrial Relations Consultant.
